WHAT I WORE IN IBIZA

I don’t know what possessed me to write a whole post about what I wore in Ibiza when I spend every holiday in comfortable clothes and no makeup - so you know, if you ever want to feel better about your face/skin/dark circles, life… go check out yesterday’s vlog - but if I’m honest, I didn’t really want to do a hotel review or Ibiza guide for this trip because not only did I literally stay in the hotel the whole time eating at least 12 plates of food everyday - I wish I was joking but my fry up bloat and clothes that no longer fit will attest to that - but it was just such a chilled out place that the most I could say would be “chilled, amazing, stunning, beautiful, heavenly”.

Probs be more interesting than most of my posts tbh…

Either way, I thought I would feature some of my outfits that I wore instead (some outfits not shown as I’ve worn them already and some displayed too much cheese and fig and ice cream bloat.)

I probably should be sorry, but food is bae/life/everything/all of those other equally annoying phrases, so I’m really not…

Now, this is my blogger fail moment because so many of you said lovely things about this on instagram, but it's actually old and not in stock and omg please don't kill me. I can't find anything similar but I wanted to share it anyway as I do absolutely love it and bring it out on every beach holiday (so you know, see you in a couple of months babes). I paired it with this Bershka hat which I wore all holiday - and obvs it had nothing to do with the fact that I only washed my hair once the whole time I was there and it was pretty disgusting #SexBomb - I absolutely love the "salty hair" quote too, as well as the sunnies which are extremely old but I've linked a similar bad boy above.

Top - Matalan / Skirt - Matalan / Shoes - Red Herring at Debenhams 

Confession time, I saw this look (bar the shoes) on a Matalan advert and proceeded to go online and order the whole goddamn thing - insert hand clapping emoji's here for good advertising and shopping obsessed bloggers - but there was something about this stripy top and skirt combo that I absolutely loved from the get go. I also have such a soft spot for this look and these photo's because on our first night, we took ourselves off to explore the hotel and stumbled across this secluded little rooftop that managed to catch the sunset like no other (you know I am all about sunsets) and I can honestly say, sat there on these "spa sun loungers" - souped up, really glam sun loungers - watching the sun go down, I almost shed a little tear over how stunningly beautiful it was.

Tbh, I am such a hormonal holly these days, the cornflake ad could set off tears quite easily, but still, Ibiza sunsets are such babes!

I sincerely apologise if you're eating your breakfast when reading this part, I know it's not the most attractive look, but girlfriend's gotta go to the beach and sometimes you just have to show some flesh. Now, to be honest, I'm not the kind of gal that's going to spend sh*t loads on beachwear because I'd kinda just spend it on clothes that I can wear all day and not just sunning myself up, which is why Matalan have been a bit of a dream of late. Just FYI, I've never been sponsored by Matalan in any way, I just really bloody love their summer collections and swimwear. So yeah, the Matalan fangirl continues in this look and I'm sorry not sorry because this Kaftan got all of the compliments (from the 70 year old ladies hanging by the pool #player) and also made me feel really comfortable too.

Yo, my name's Elle, and I'm just continuing that Matalan fangirl for another look [insert guilty face/"but seriously go and check them out" emoji face here]. I absolutely adore this dress. I love the cut of the shoulders, giving it an edge of sexiness without being all "hey here's my skin, wanna see some boob while you're at it" whilst the bell sleeve gives it that touch of chic. The pattern is right up my boho chic street too, so much so that I unintentionally picked up the matching top (which is gorgeous but you know, didn't really need two of the same print) which I love just as much. It's also super comfortable and without the belt - which looked like a good idea but felt like a terrible one after the buffet - houses a helluva lot of food. Should've worn it all holiday tbh...

So that's the end of my Ibiza looks, I really hope you enjoyed getting a sneak peek into my holiday wardrobe. I definitely need to get some Ibiza scenery pictures up somewhere as the place was genuinely one of the most breathtaking places I've ever been to. All of my preconceptions about Ibiza - lads lads lads, drunks as a skunk, flinging STD's around like a frisbee... basically hell on earth - couldn't have been any different. We stayed in Puerto de san miguel which admittedly, is a family area anyway so I'm not saying that the more clubby areas aren't like that, but if you're looking for somewhere stunning, serene and totally peaceful, the Ole Galeon is a fab shout.
