FEELING GRATEFUL

This is another one of those posts where I've got photo's of an outfit I really like, but the words, the words are just a complete and utter random word vomit/verbal diarrhea on how grateful I currently feel in this moment. Maybe it's because despite having only returned from a dream trip to Marbella less than two weeks ago, I'm off on another trip to Ibiza tomorrow. Maybe it's because the sun is shining and oh my god sun is bae, me and sun are bff's etc. etc. Maybe it's because I'm cradling a coffee the size of my head, or maybe it's because after a 3 week lull (the joys of being freelance) I ended up confirming 4 sponsored collaborations - that I am so excited for because they are brands that I love and I can't wait for you to see them [insert stupidly excited emoji's here] - in the space of 1 blooming day.

Or maybe it's a mix of all of those things combined.

Or maybe it's because I plan on ordering a gluten free Domino's tonight (screw you bikini body, screw you), but whatever it is, I am eternally grateful and quite blissfully happy in this very moment (that'll probably change in a few hours, yay hormones) And I am really bloody happy about that, because despite the picture perfect Instagram perception, life ain't no bed of roses. But sometimes, sometimes life just serves you a dollop of happiness, so you know, take that and run with it. And maybe Instagram it or something...

So these glasses. I can't work out if I think they're amazing, or absolutely hideous which makes me feel super ridiculously ungrateful as I received them at a GHD event but what can I say; they're just quite cool and I'm just, well... not. I think it's the rounded off shape that doesn't suit me that well (or just because I have a bit of wonky head so no sunnies suit me, sucks to be me right now!) but, I still kinda think they're a bit amazing for summer. The waved blue colour makes me crave being on a beach in somewhere like Ibiza - lols, that's happening tomorrow, so frickin excited - so yeah, stay tuned to see these around all summer long.

Sunglasses fangirl/"are these cool or do I look like a knob?" first world problem rant, over, it's time to talk about these Seven Boot Lane espadrilles which spoiler alert, I am beyond obsessed with. I absolutely love the sandy beige colour as it goes with absolutely everything and works perfectly for summer. The shoes are made from the most beautiful suede and the slight wedge gives them those "oh hey, I'm effortless cool and should really be prancing along in the south of france" vibes. And I am all about those vibes!

So that brings this major ramble/photo-bombardment/outfit fangirl to an end. I'm off to enjoy the sunshine and pack for Ibiza (p.s if you can say Ibiza without singing Mike Posner's tune then you're a better gal pal than I am) but I hope you're having an amazing day and enjoying the sunshine. After all, London will probably be like "haha soz bitches, time for some snow now" soon anyway, so lap those rays up!
