BODEN, BOOTS & BEAUTIFUL COFFEE

So, it looks like the weather gods - they're totally, totally a thing right? - took note of everyone moaning that it was sunny and mild at Christmas because my god has it got extremely cold in the UK over the last couple of days*. Gone are the days of wearing skirts without tights, tee's without a faux fur waistcoat over the top and open toed sandals; and in comes the laying in bed in pyjamas all day with fluffy socks, Netflix, hot chocolate and chill all the layers, Primark's super cosy tights and boots, boots and more boots.

*P.S I'm aware that I opened this post discussing the weather. This is not an awkward first date, promise.

So alongside all the layers/anything keeping you cosy as fuck AF, a steaming hot coffee on the go is also pretty darn essential. AMIRIGHT? I think I'm right...

So off I headed down the road - actually to the library but that sounds less glamorous and Babe'in doesn't it - for a stroll and coffee stop in my brand new Boden skirt and River Island boots. Both of which haven't left my butt/feet since I got them.

So this skirt... it's pretty bloody dreamy if I do say so myself. The Boden Women's Cambridge skirt in Steel blue is just the most beautifully well made, ridiculously chic skirt. With it's extremely flattering fitted A-line shape (and the fact that it comes in 6 different colours) it really is perfect for everyone. An absolute babe of a skirt and one that I know I will wear to death all winter long. I'm also very excited to wear this sans tights in the summer, with a cute little tee and sandals. (Can you tell I'm done with winter already?).

You know that really frickin annoying thing when you buy something and then see it in the sale for nearly half the price weeks later? Yep, that's exactly what happened with these boots. Although I have to say, I almost don't care because I genuinely love them that much and am just so happy to have them in my life. These stunning River Island Black leather pointed lace up boots have become such a go-to in my wardrobe that I actually chucked out quite a lot of old shoes because these just come before everything. Super simple but the mix of leather, suede and laces make them look so chic and sophisticated. I'm going to move on to the coffee now before this entire post turns into a shrine to these boots.

Time for all the caffeine goodness from the ridiculously cute coffee van that is Mouse Tail.

Pretty skirts, fierce as f*ck AF boots and coffee fangirling over, this brings me to the end of this post. I have to say, this was one pretty bloomin' tough shoot. The weather - oh here she goes, bore of the century discussing the weather again - was extremely icy and girlfriend was absolutely freezing her non-existent tits nips off but hopefully I didn't look too much of a frozen, wooden trunk of a person.

I'd love to know what you thought of the outfit, if you have any tips for shooting in the winter and your favourite coffee shops in London? I always love to hear your thoughts :)

As always, thanks so much for reading!

xx
