HI, THIGH HIGHS!

Ted and muffy empress boots and primark dress
I am a firm believer in layering, and combining a few basics with key pieces to create the perfect look. However sometimes, just sometimes, an item comes along that completely takes centre stage, becoming that piece that no matter what you pair it with... will always top off an incredible outfit.

A chic result with minimal effort, I am all for that #TheSlothNextDoor

Said piece that came into my life, took over my Instagram feed - and my room because I refused to chuck the rather large and extremely Instagrammable box and packaging - and literally made me want to wear them every single day? The Ted and Muffy Empress boots*.

Paired with my new favourite dress from... wait for it... Primark!

(Why I tried the whole "suspense" thing when you all know that 99.9% of my wardrobe is Primark, this popped up all over my Instagram and I included it in my Primark haul, I'll never know. Let's just go with it, shall we? Brilliant... )

If you couldn't tell from the umpteen photo's of said boots, I really, really love them. They're ridiculously comfortable despite the rather generous heel, they also fit amazingly well because they're actually made to measure (ish). When you go online to order, you have the option to chose your calf size so that they fit perfectly which I think is such a brilliant idea as I always struggle to find over the knee boots that actually stay up. [insert hands up/hallelujah emoji here].

On to the dress which is really quite special. It genuinely blows my mind that something with such gorgeous detailing and a fashion forward cut/style can come from Primark. Don't get me wrong, I am the biggest Primark fan girl, but this really does feel a much higher quality than the usual and I for one, am definitely not complaining.

Plus it makes me feel a little Blair Waldorf-esque which is never a bad thing!
And that brings my post to an end. I have to say, I really, really enjoyed wearing this outfit. It definitely gave me all the sassy vibes [insert sassy hand emoji here for good measure] and is one that I will be recycling for sure.

Hey, if Kate Middleton can get away with recycling outfits then why can't I?

Because you're not a princess you tit!

As always, thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post!

xx
