Life as a full time blogger is a bit of a strange contradiction. One day, you can be in London from 9am - 6pm having back to back meetings, only seeing the inside of beautiful restaurants (I know, it's OK for some right?) or in the back of a taxi/on a tube train (tube train for me because I am a perpetual tight arse thrifty being). And the next, you'll be stuck indoors all day battling through emails, blog admin, photographing content, writing content, filming content... basically creating all the content, in pyjama bottoms, makeup free, hair scraped back forgetting what fresh air actually feels like.
Well, this is my full time blogger life anyway.
And whilst I absolutely love my job, one thing that I never really get time for is shopping, which is great for my purse strings but absolutely awful for when those last minute events pop up, you have a packed schedule so can't get out in the day to pick something up, and it's also too late to order online as it won't turn up by the next day (serious FML/first world problem times). But ladies, I have a solution to this. Well, actually, Next does, but I'm telling you about it so same, same huh?
Next have now introduced an incredible "order before midnight for next day delivery" service and simultaneously saved our sartorial woes and bankrupted us at the same time. So thank you (and darn you) Next for being so bloody brilliant!
On the subject of all things Next, let's talk about this shirt shall we? For me, shirts are my number 1 go to all year round but especially in the cooler months. They have the ability to completely nail the smart/casual trend, dress up a relaxed look, or complete a dressy combo. They basically make dressing easy and effortless and for that, I love them. Added to my "love ya hun" shirt list is this cream tie neck blouse. I absolutely love that the shirt isn't fitted (oversized ehhrthing for me, please!) but also manages to be feminine. The cream tone over white makes it slightly more versatile for me and perfect for every season, whilst the neck tie just adds that bit of preppy cool making it unique from anything I own.
Shirt: Next
Skirt: Fashion Union
Shoes that I wear to death and will continue to do so until my own death: Topshop (burgundy out of stock, nude shoes here)
Because all good bloggers love a FWIS, right?
So that brings my post to an end. I think 3 things are clear from this post. 1) I enjoy playing in the leaves far too much. 2) I am stupidly indecisive hence 20bajillion pictures and 3) Next's next day delivery up until midnight is pretty darn great!
As always, thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post!
