Linzi and Louboutin, now that is a juxtaposition I am more than OK with. I am the world's biggest tight arse Primark/budget highstreet advocate that has a totally hypocritical appreciation of all things shiny and luxurious but would never open up the purse strings and purchase and that's pretty much where today's blog post idea was born from.
I was lucky enough to attend the launch of Christain Louboutin's lipstick range (which also doubles up as a necklace, fancy huh?) and I just happened to be wearing my absolute footwear favourite at the moment, the stunningStacee boots from Linzi. Not only do they look amazing, but they also come in at £40 which I personally think is so affordable considering how well they're made (and the fact that they're a total dupe of an ASOS and River Island pair I've seen recently for half of the price).
So in short, my day was a mixture of absolute bargains/fashion steals, and a lipstick so expensive it'll make your elderly relatives spit their tea out in disgust... well, life's all about balance right? Right...
Mock croc boot appreciation over, it was time to head over to Central London to discover all things Louboutin...
Packaged in the most stunning gold pointed bullet-esque shape - descriptive skills of a 4 year old in full force today - they immediately steal your attention (and make you want to buy all the colours because they're so damn pretty). With 36 shades in 3 beautiful textures; opulent silky satin, luminous sheer voile and rich velvet matte... I defy you to find a lipstick that you don't want to sell your Nan for in order to buy. I tried the shade Delicanodo - and made the wise decision to point at it rather than try to pronounce it - and it got so many compliments so if I ever pluck up the courage to part with £60 [insert shocked as hell/"I feel sick" emoji here]... I know where I'll be heading to.
So that brings me to the end of this post, I absolutely love the gorgeous Linzi boots and think they'll be so perfect throughout Autumn too. And then we have the Christian Louboutin lipsticks that whilst being ridiculousy/outrageously/sickeningly expensive, really are a thing of absolute beauty.
Plus, how incredible would they look in Instagram photo's? ;)
I'd love to know what your Autumn footwear favourites are and if you'd ever consider a £60 lipstick? Leave me a comment below and let me know :)
As always, thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post!
