It's that time again people - no, not that time - when the fashionista's (can we just take a moment to gag over how cringe that word is?) of the world come out in full force and all of a sudden, you can't escape it for love nor money... it's London fashion week time. Now, I spoke about my thoughts on LFW last season, here, and not much has really changed if I'm honest.
I say this with trepidation because I'm very aware that lots of bloggers don't get the opportunity to experience fashion week, and I'm grateful that I have the chance to, I really am. I just have to be honest in that it's not something that I hugely look forward to. Fashion week for a lot of bloggers = running around between shows, blisters on feet and a hell of a lot of waiting outside in the cold because they all want to get snapped by the street style photographers. And there's nothing wrong with that at all, but it's just not for me. I like to go to the show/presentation, snap away, get the content and get home to my hot chocolate, PJ's and boxset of Harvey Specter Suits.
Which is why this season I tried to be ridiculously selective, and rather than traipsing around to the 50bajillion shows I was - very, very luckily - invited to, I would just head to those that I genuinely looked forward to seeing. So what better way to start London Fashion week than with Schwarzkopf Got 2 b, going behind the scenes of the incredible Felder Felder. But first, let me take a selfie the outfit...

After checking out The Body Shop's amazing pampering area at Fashion Scout, we then headed backstage to Felder Felder to discover exactly what went into producing the hair look.
After leaving Fashion Scout, we headed to The Apartment which in short, is a place that I never wanted to leave! Manicures, blow dries, massages, sleep pods - yes you read that right, sleep pods! - not to mention KFC to order and amazing coffee, The Apartment is a place that fashion bloggers can go to refuel, recharge (quite literally #iPhoneProblems) and just chill between shows.
I couldn't think of a better way to end a busy Day 1 and I knew that I would definitely be heading back there over the next few days.
Right now, I am panicking as a video fails to export, planning tomorrow's LFW outfit whilst simultaneously running a lush bath and losing my mind. Fashion week is definitely fun, and definitely crazy/busy/stressful/"oh my god, what is my life?". I'm already looking forward to a day off!
