THE DREAM INSTAGRAM HOUSE

I know I'm not alone in sharing a good chuckle over our many blogger cliches. Whether it's the flowers outside of Liberty, the LOL's over our Macarons/Burgers/[insert your own Instagram-worthy food item here] that receive more Instagram likes than our selfies... there are some things most bloggers are just compelled to post/write about. And you know what... that's absolutely fine. Us bloggers, immediately without even knowing each other all share something in common, that we like to write/photograph/create content, so surely it's natural that we're going to like similar things right?

Said thing that pretty much my whole Instagram following - slight exaggeration, but a lot of you - went slightly crazy for? A gorgeous little house in Knightsbridge that I have to say, really was the house that Instagram/Blogger/Barbie dreams are made of. With a beautiful pink door and shutters and the most stunning flowers match, as soon as I saw this place online I hunted it down - funnily enough, as did Becca - and headed there to shoot some looks with Becca and Josie.

This look, a miniskirt - ooh er! - paired with a floaty peasant top and lace up flats has quickly become one that I have literally regurgitated over and over when the weather is warm. It's comfortable - well, apart from the strategic holding when you're going up the escalators/stairs at tube stations - it's breathable and it just looks chic. Well, I think it does anyway, maybe I'm alone in that. You're totally alone in that...

On to the details, this absolute beaut of a bag which is such an amazing dupe of the Chloe Drew unfortunately doesn't belong to me, I borrowed this from Josie, but I definitely need to get my hands on it as it finishes off the look perfectly.

Peasant tops - which I actually had no idea were called that (does that make me a total tit?) until some lovely people commented on my Primark haul and let me know, the joys of Youtube - are my absolute favourite right now and are seriously rivalling off the shoulder tops. Floaty, boho, "am I Sienna Miller yet?"* perfection.

FYI, I am so aware that I don't look anything like Sienna, we aren't all that lucky.

Next up are these amazing Nude lace up flats from Linzi which I've actually already spoken about here. I just love these so much, they're great for pairing with a casual outfit to dress it up a bit, are a fab alternative to heels and are just beyond comfortable.

And because I'm so lovely - sarcasm disclaimer because you can't convey tone in text - you can shop the look here.

And here I am, pretty much face planting pretty flowers for the sake of a blog post #ClicheBlogger #SorryNotSorry ;)

So that brings my post to an end. I have to say, it's really lovely to discover amazing little gems like this in London. I am generally London's biggest fan girl anyway but places like this show that the concrete jungle really can be pretty darn beautiful too.

What did you make of the "Instagram" house? Any fellow peasant top lovers out there? I'd love to hear you thoughts :)

As always, thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post!

xx
