WESTERN, WHITES AND WELL LOVED IN MAY

May favourites
For once in my life, I haven't looked back on the month and f**ked hated my life because I want to include all the products in my monthly favourites. I've actually loved few products this month, but I've loved them a lot. In amongst my favourites include the most gorgeous, unique, perfect pair of boots I own - which I was kindly sent by Chockers, thanks Chockers you little charmers, you... - which also haven't left my feet since I received them. Alongside said life changing boots - erm, yes, a pair of shoes can totally be life changing - are my white ASOS jeans which I've equally worn to death, so I thought... why not mix things up a bit and make a 'favourites'/'favourite items in an OOTD'/'thoughts on favourite things' type post.

... And that was obviously such a riveting idea that you're all just desperate to carry on reading...

[insert sarcastic/"I know you think I'm a knob tit twat right now but please just humour me, read the post and pretend you're not totally bored and actually enjoyed it anyway?" emoji here]

You could also add in a thumbs up emoji but I thought it might be too much. It's too much...

Chockers Sienna boots* (sold out - boo! - gorgeous red version here) - So, these are the boots that I totally fan-girled over in my introduction and I think you might be able to see why. They are a cowboy style boot (which the inner Sienna Miller/Kate Moss in me loves) with a stunning mixture of prints and textures. MockCroc, velour/suede with gorgeous gold hardware on the zips, heels and toe cap. They're incredibly comfortable which my poor blistered feet - I am a girl that suffers for her art i.e uncomfortable shoes because they make the outfit photo's on point look so much better - are very grateful for. They're just a unique addition to my collection, which for the girl that literally owns all the black boots in the world (boots, are my thing FYI) that's seriously saying something.

White ASOS jeans - I haven't got a specific photo to show said white jeans as not only can you see them above, but it's also impossible to get a flattering photo. Unless you're a Victoria's Secret model, or Cheryl Fernakfnvakn Vergkfnvaejvnanvr or Michelle Keegan, or... you get the gist. However, despite looking like a tree trunk/McDonald's Ambassador, I have really been enjoying styling these up, and wearing them on a warmer day for a fresher, more summery feel. Whilst I love these ASOS ones, I am very open to flattering white jean recommendations...

If such a thing exists.
Stella McCartney Stella perfume

Stella McCartney Stella - I mentioned this product in my Spring essentials/chic things/whatever the hell I actually named the post, blog post here... so feel free to pop over to check out an in-depth, absolutely awful fragrance description there. (Jesus Christ, I'm serious selling that option to you aren't I? #FullTimeBloggerTwat) In short, it's a beautiful floral, fresh, slightly sweet - but not sickly - citrusy scent that is just perfect for the warmer months. It's subtle, it's fresh... and I've never come across a single person who hasn't really liked this.

If you are one of them however, it would be lovely if you could just keep that to yourself and refrain from making me look like a complete dick twat on my blog. Please and thank you ;)
Essie Peach Daiquiri
Essie Peach Daiquiri
Essie Peach Daiquiri - Oh Essie, you've done it again. Finding a nail polish that I love enough to repaint repeatedly over twice in a row when the time comes - i.e when they're chipped to f**k high heaven/look rougher than a witches tit sandpaper - is very rare, so Essie did so good with this one. It's a peachy pink, coral, slightly red toned colour - adjectives are not my strong point, don't judge - that I've already reviewed here in case you're after more swatches. It's very pretty, lasts at least a week without chipping and is perfect for Spring/Summer.
Rodial Glamstick Bite
Rodial Glamstick in Bite* - Including this lipstick in my May favourites is a little naughty of me (I know, living life on the edge big time) as I literally received this a matter of days before putting the post together. However I couldn't not include it because this lipstick was just love at first use. Of course, a full review is on it's way next week, but ladies... this lipstick is so nourishing, it smells oh my god incredible, the colour is literally my ideal lipstick. In fact, scrap that, the entire lipstick is my ideal lipstick. It's love. Full on "I clearly haven't got my priorities in check yet hence why I'm able to profess love for a lipstick, but I will do soon" love.
So this brings what is technically my May Favourites - with a special fan girl to my favourite boots and some beauty bits - to an end. I actually really enjoyed putting this post together so maybe it'll be a new format to my favourites posts in the future.

As for me, May has potentially been the most stressful month of my life. [insert violin sound effect here] A mixture of incredible, unbelievable - but for me, because I am a huge over thinker and neurotic bitch - however slightly stressful/totally nerve-wracking blog opportunities, alongside putting in all the hours in the world in posts/collaborations/general bloggy stuff etc. plus health issues... I have kinda' been left a broken mess. The work/life balance is yet to even be discovered let alone be made more even so if any of you have any tips for not getting stressed/letting things get too much/generally how not to be a highly strung psychopath... those would be greatly appreciated :)

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post.

xx
