There are many things that I love about blogging. Getting to write about
whatever you want (my random rambles
that bore you to death are proof of that), having a little corner of the internet that is totally yours to do whatever you like with, making incredible friends from it - I practically did a whole ode to that
in my last post - but one thing that I love more than anything, is getting to indulge in my photography love on a daily basis. Or,
you know, when I get my butt in gear to take photo's.
Now, unless Harry Potter is real - in which case I will totally lose my shit (...shortly followed by all the "wingardium leviosarr" squeels, because I'm cool, obvs...) - and Hermione's time turner is a thing, I can't actually take outfit photo's myself, so branching out and working with different photographers is something that I absolutely love to do, and that's exactly what I've done in this post today.
The photo's in this post were taken by
Joe Galvin. Now, as well as being a bloody spectacular photographer (go and check out his photography website linked above, I promise you you will be blown away) he also happens to be the photographer - and boyf - of one of my all time favourite bloggers,
Olivia from What Olivia did. And I
genuinely mean that. I've
stalked obsessed over followed Liv's blog for years and funny story - which we all know means won't be funny in
any capacity - when I first met my boyfriend and he agreed to take some outfit photo's for me, I showed him Liv's photo's and pretty much said "make my photo's looks like hers, and me look like her please!" but whilst he does have a pretty nifty camera, unfortunately he didn't have a magic wand to transform my face. (In the words of Beyonce,
sucks to be me right now). Unfunny story over, let's just crack on with the photo's shall we? [insert
"Hallelujah" sound effect here].

When you do a twirl and are as graceful as a baby elephant...

Sandals: Linzi (similar here)
Bag: Primark (around 5 years ago, similar here)
This ASOS dress is probably my favourite summer time dress ever. It's just so flowy - word of warning on that note however, prepare for Marilyn moments i.e no Bridget Jones knickers allowed - so comfy and just makes me
feel all festival cool and chic...
Just a pity I didn't look it...
So, despite the fact that I didn't look anywhere near as dreamy as Liv, I absolutely love these shots. Joe just has that knack for finding the perfect location and capturing you in the best light (which is a god send because let's face it, I need all the help I can get) so again, I highly recommend checking out his website and Instagram for all the photography inspo!
So, what were your thoughts on this little festival number? Where are your favourite stores for amazing Summer dresses right now? I would love to hear your thoughts :)
As always, thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post!
